Created in 1904, it became a daily from 1915 to 1940. Between the wars, it was a radical, pacifist Republican newspaper. In 1939, it had a circulation of 275,000. It disappeared in 1944.
The Olibet biscuit factory, founded in 1872 in Bordeaux, continued its expansion by setting up in the Paris suburbs in 1879 and then in Lyon in 1883.
