The Italian company Wafers e affini di Marchisio & C was founded in 1922 in Turin. From a simple pastry shop, it quickly began industrial production of wafers, biscuits, and rusks, including the famous "Biscotto Salute."
Biscuits made in the Pernot Biscuit Factory in Dijon. This factory also produced "Fleur des neiges".
The Dutch company Boldoot was founded in 1789. It produced eau de Cologne. From 1876 it combined soap with eau de Cologne. In 1902, Boldoot moved part of the production to a new soap factory located on Haarlemmerweg. The poster by Cappiello is about a soap that is "twice white".
