Subject
Coty perfume containing rose tincture notes, marketed by Gath & Shave in Argentina. Legend has it that Coty, leaving a meeting with the director of Les Magasins du Louvre who had refused him the opportunity to sell his new perfume La Rose Jacqueminot in their stores, threw a bottle right in the middle of the crowded shop, causing a near-riot as dozens of customers rushed to ask where they could buy it. Les Magasins du Louvre accepted the perfume, and over 500 bottles were snatched up in a few days. Other department stores followed. Within four months, Coty had earned his first million. Description:
A worldly woman holds a perfume bottle in one hand and breathes in the scent of a rose with the other. There is no doubt that this delightful fragrance comes from the perfume.
