Subject
Founded in 1882, the Premier Fils distillery in Romans sur Isère (Drôme) became one of the largest producers of absinthe. After it was banned in 1915, the distillery closed. In 1923, Édouard Premier (1869-1927) relaunched the brand and created the pastis "Anis Premier".

Description:
A man's hand holds up a bottle of aperitif. Several other bottles can be seen behind it. Initially, the hand brandishing a bottle was intended for Pernod Fils (see black and white photo of the sketch).
