The artwork showcases craftsmanship and study only a master can deliver, and the tasteful printer Vercasson, through meticulous reproduction, did not diminish the subject's value in any way. The reach of this poster in terms of advertising was highly productive; 'Les Desserts Coquin' owes much of its current success to it." Albert Coquin, director of the Troyes-based Desserts Coquin factory, June 7, 1903, to Monsieur Vercasson.
