Cocofruitine

ID(s):

Subject
Vegetable butter with coconut extract produced in the former oil mill Charles Diemer & Cie. in Marseille

Description:
Initially (Cf. the sketch) Cappiello's idea was to surround a coat of arms with two birds. Their long beaks were meant to create surprise. Inside the coat of arms, he would place the product to be marketed. In a second stage, he replaced these birds with birds of prey with hooked beaks, just as surprising but more striking. Inside the coat of arms, he proposed a bottle of white wine. Finally, the poster would be sold for Cocofruitine, a vegetable butter made from coconut.
