Remark:
It is worth noting a similarity in staging with the cover of "Le Cri de Paris," no. 201, published on December 2, 1900. Note the posture of the two women, the flowing bow on the dress of the woman on the right. The face of the woman in black from Le Cri de Paris is reused for the woman on the left. The presence of a piece of furniture on the left for compositional balance is also repeated.
