  • The café "Baratti & Milano" in Turin was founded by the confectioners Ferdinando Baratti and Edoardo Milano. It is a symbol of intellectual life in this city during the 19th century. Established in 1875 before the unification of Italy, it became one of the most famous chocolate and confectionery houses in the world. It would become the official supplier to the royal House of Savoy.
