Around 1860 Francesco Cirio built the first factory for canned peas. Following rapid development, he established several fruit and vegetable canning factories in southern Italy. Description:
Cappiello resumed the project he had done for the "Chambéryzette" liqueur, a vermouth produced by the Dolin distillery in Chambéry. First, he replaced some fruits with vegetables. Then, he had the woman emerge from a can, more harmoniously surrounded by other fruits and vegetables.
