Subject
Florio Marsala wine and Cinzano aperitif

Description:
In 1910 Cappiello had very successfully used a zebra for Cinzano Vermouth. In 1925, he created a sketch for Brio featuring two zebras with a bottle carried by a rider. In 1930 he revisited the same theme for the merger of Florio and Cinzano. He removed the rider and added two bottles. It could only be a success. The first sketch presented (1925027E0) comes from a more refined sketch (Cf. Black and white photo).
