A naked man in hand-to-hand combat with a bull in a park. This scene was inspired by Heracles, who captured the bull with his bare hands.
The preliminary sketch is called "Cure d'air" (See black and white photo). Man's strength is no longer given by a tonic wine, but by rest in a healthy place. Dr Luigi Rovetta was a theorist of scientific naturism. In 1920, he founded the Maison des Cures Naturelles Dr. Luigi Rovetta in Ronco di Ghiffa, on the shores of Lake Maggiore. Here, patients could regenerate in an uncontaminated landscape and restore the right balance between body and environment. Cappiello proposed another project to this client
